At Colorado Modular Homes we have truly found a superior way to build. The process begins at the off-site construction facility. Our homes area built in a controlled environment with strict quality control using advanced tools and systems. Walls are laid out on jigs and perfectly square when placed on flooring. Then, they are built from the inside out which gives our homes a superior air-tight seal.
Clients love that our homes are extremely efficient and built to the most progressive codes. Our homes are also built to withstand delivery and set, which makes them a lot more structurally sound than a site-built home.
Because the factory process has so many efficiencies and controls, our building capacity is unmatched. We have also unlocked more capabilities to meet sustainable and net zero goals according to energy codes throughout Colorado counties.
One of the best parts about modular construction is that while your home is being built at the factory, the site work can be done in preparation for the home’s arrival. This two-part schedule where the home and site work can happen simultaneously, is one of the time saving advantages of modular home construction. Excavation, foundation and framing can be completed before your home is built.
Once the site is ready and your home is completed at the factory, the home is delivered to the site on trucks specifically designed for transporting modular homes. Homes typically arrive close to 90% complete. Once the home is delivered, the licensed expert set crew sets the home on your foundation with a crane with the utmost precision! House set day is an awesome day that our clients love. Rome was not built in a day, but your home will be set in a day.
After your home is set on the foundation, it is now time to get to all the finishing details. The design and look of these details is what really sets Colorado Modular Homes apart. We are often told that our homes look different from other modular homes, a compliment in which we take a lot of pride. Your home will stand out because of the attention to small details including all the site-built finishes such as your entry gable, decks and exterior masonry. We carefully select your outdoor lighting and add timber accents to the deck posts – these details are what set a home apart. Ultimately, our unique design process, The Road Home, is why our homes are beautiful and unique!
If you cannot find a plan that is right for you, we are here to help customize any project.
A home is only as good as its finishes. We offer a wide range of interior and exterior finishes in our homes.
